Screw-in thermocouples are predominantly used for measuring temperatures ranging from -325° to 1470°F in fluids and gases. J head-type thermocouples are available for vacuum and high-pressure applications due to their ability to form reliable seals. As standard, thermocouples as per DIN EN 60 584 and DIN 43 710 are used as a measuring insert. Versions with duplex thermocouples are also available. Applications include heating, furnaces/kilns, apparatus engineering and more. J head type thermocouples are electrically insulated or connected with a protection tube.
