Aerobraze Engineered Technologies, a division of Wall Colmonoy, chose Mercer Technologies to rebuild two vacuum furnaces for its Cincinnati, Ohio, facility. Mercer will improve the overall performance and efficiency of the furnaces by rebuilding them in accordance with Aerobraze’s Nadcap quality standards. Both furnaces have been sent to Mercer’s Rebuild Center in Terre Haute, Ind., where they will undergo a complete remanufacture, including a rebuild of motors and transformers, new hot zone, new vacuum pumps and new digital control console. The vacuum pumps will be rebuilt by sister company Midwest Vacuum Pumps. The new furnaces will support components measuring up to 54 inches wide x 42 inches high x 72 inches deep.
