Premier Furnace Specialists of Farmington Hills, Mich., received an order for a gas-fired box-type normalizing and annealing furnace from a manufacturer based in Illinois. The effective load size is 10 feet wide x 8 feet deep x 4 feet high with a 4,000-pound capacity. The furnace, which has 12 inches of ceramic-fiber insulation, has an operating temperature of 300-1750°F with a maximum operating temperature of 1800°F. State-of-the-art controls, which feature auto start and automatic turndown, are integrated with the in-house computer network system and have a log-in feature for remote troubleshooting capabilities.
