Complete Heat Treating completed its acquisition of all assets and equipment of the former Wisconsin Steel Industries. All equipment from both companies has been consolidated at Complete Heat Treating’s 65,000-square-foot facility in Milwaukee, where the highlight is a gas-fired car-bottom furnace with a 53-foot x 22-foot x 14-foot workspace, 1,000,000-pound load capacity and operating temperatures to 2150°F. With the acquisition, equipment and services now offered include five car-bottom furnaces, five box furnaces, heavy-duty polymer and water quench tanks, stress relieving, annealing, normalizing, BHN inspection, straightening and full compliance with ISO 9001 certification standards. Workpieces up to 50 tons are routinely processed using recently installed crane equipment.
