INEX Inc. announced its upgraded line of single-end recuperative (SER) radiant tubes using silicon-brazed construction. “Sil-brazing” is a vacuum melt-infiltration technology developed by INEX where flanges and end plugs are intimately bonded to composite radiant tubes. This creates joints with thermal and mechanical properties equal to the INEX composite tubes themselves. Sil-brazed SER tubes last indefinitely and can be used up to 2450˚F (1340˚C). They will not distort, sag (or creep), embrittle (carburize), scale (oxidize), or fail due to thermal shock or weld stress. Sil-brazed SER inner and outer tubes are now available in a variety of OD sizes up to 6 inches.  www.inexinc.net
