SECO/WARWICK Corp. is set to commission a graphitization vacuum furnace for a U.S. material manufacturer. The horizontal front-loading vacuum furnace is designed for sintering, heat treating, degassing and graphitizing in vacuum or partial-pressure inert atmosphere. The furnace has a maximum operating temperature of 2500°F and is 17 feet wide x 16 feet tall x 16 feet long. SECO/WARWICK is providing turnkey installation and expects to have the equipment running soon. Material will be loaded into this furnace with a SECO/WARWICK-designed and built forklift-style loader.
