The company is comprised of five divisions: field service, engineering, product sales, metrology and consulting/training.
“What differentiates us from our competitors is having these areas of specialization combined within one organization,” Kacsik said. “The ability to provide this array of services to our customers is a tremendous advantage.”
This advantage was recently on full display.
“We provide ongoing instrumentation calibration and temperature uniformity surveys for a Tier-1 aerospace manufacturer in the Southeast U.S.,” Kacsik said. “They mentioned to our service technician that they were looking to upgrade the control systems on six vacuum furnaces. Our Engineering Division was brought in, and they designed and installed a supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADA) for the furnaces utilizing materials obtained by our Product Sales Division.”
Conrad Kacsik strives to provide exacting quality standards and implement technology innovations for its customers. The company achieved its ISO certification in 1996 and its ISO-IEC 17025 in 2000, when the standard was known as Guide 25. Priding itself on being ahead of the technology curve, Conrad Kacsik developed an Internet-based calibration system in 2008. Calibration and temperature uniformity data entry is performed on site by technicians utilizing laptops equipped with broadband cards. Customer data is uploaded to our online record retention system and is available via secure login 24 hours a day.
The company recently completed the acquisition of Synergy Service Team Inc., which primarily serves the heat-treat market and specializes in temperature uniformity surveys and AMS 2750E compliance. The acquisition is another step in the strategic growth of Conrad Kacsik. Synergy Service Team’s locations in New York and Connecticut – combined with existing locations in Ohio, North Carolina, Florida, Virginia, Oklahoma, Texas and California – expand Conrad Kacsik’s geographic footprint and enables the company to efficiently service the entire U.S. market. Synergy Service Team also provides process instrument calibrations and Nadcap-compliance assistance. The integration of Synergy Service Team within its existing infrastructure further enhances economies of scale and allows Conrad Kacsik to service customers more cost effectively.
Conrad Kacsik has been an Associate Member of the Metal Treating Institute since 1996 and received the Associate Member of the Year Award in 2012. The company is dedicated to the heat-treating industry and has demonstrated this commitment by providing technical sessions on pyrometry and AMS 2750 at the past five FNA trade shows.
The company stocks and distributes products from leading manufacturers such as Watlow, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Eclipse and Specview. Same-day shipments of temperature controls, thermocouples, survey wire and other supplies common to the thermal-processing industry are possible from the Conrad Kacsik’s working inventory.
