Cloud Cooler Pumping Station
SBS Corp.
March 4, 2013
The Cloud Cooler is a brilliant new design that simplifies a long-proven European technology. By compressing a tiny flow of purified water at 700 psi and spraying it through atomizing nozzles, a “Cloud” forms on the air inlet of your radiator. The “Cloud” cools incoming air by as much as 25°F (14°C). Cooler air means cooler fluid exiting your air-cooled heat exchanger. In new applications, you can achieve temperatures not attainable with ordinary air-cooled heat exchangers and eliminate the complexity, cost and maintenance of a cooling tower. A Cloud Cooler achieves colder outlet fluid temperatures with your dry cooler, keeping your vacuum furnace cooler.
