Linamar Corp., a multinational supplier of automotive components and castings, purchased a new batch integral-quench system from AFC-Holcroft. The system is comprised of two UBQ (universal batch quench) integral-quench furnaces, three UBT temper furnaces, a UBW spray washer with coalesce and a doubled-ended transfer car. AFC-Holcroft will also supply three E-Z Series endothermic gas generator modules arranged into a single array capable of producing a total of 13,500 CFH of endothermic gas. The new system will be installed in Linamar’s Automotive Division in Guelph, Ontario. Linamar is Canada's second largest automobile parts manufacturer, with 39 facilities globally.
