Scottsville, N.Y.-based Ambrell, a manufacturer of induction heating systems, has partnered with Japan's Nakashimada to supply induction heating systems. Nakashimada is using the Ambrell EKOHEAT induction heating system within its new NP121HF Hot Former hot-forming system. Nakashimada is a manufacturer of forging systems for a variety of industries, including automotive and aerospace. The NP121HF Hot Former is a two-die, three-blow hot-forming system that rapidly and efficiently heats and forges fasteners. Within the system, the heating component is driven by the EKOHEAT 45-kW/100-kHz induction heating system.
