Ipsen Inc. sold a 6-bar TurboTreater® to an Asian manufacturer of land-based turbines. The company will use the vacuum furnace to enhance their current operations and capabilities. This TurboTreater has a work zone size of 48 inches wide x 48 inches high x 72 inches deep with a gross load weight capacity of 6,000 pounds. It includes convection heating for rapid preheating of parts to 1600ºF as well as capabilities for heat treating in the 10-5torr vacuum range. This particular TurboTreater also includes a 10-torr hydrogen partial-pressure system, which will be used to pre-clean parts to prepare them for the brazing process.
