MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions in Saegertown, Pa., is
taking delivery of a complete batch furnace line. The equipment consists of an
AFC-Holcroft UBQ (universal batch quench) integral-quench batch furnace, along with
a nitrogen-atmosphere tempering furnace, spray/dunk washer, transfer car,
scissors lift table and E-Z 1800 endothermic gas generator. The UBQ furnace line
is often specified because its modular nature allows heat treaters to quickly
adapt to process or production changes and integrate ancillary equipment to
increase production as capacity requirements dictate. MacLean-Fogg’s Saegertown
division, which joined the company in 2008, is one of North America’s leading
cold forging and machining operations.
