PV/T Inc., an Inductotherm Group Company located in Rancocas, N.J., received an order for a high-temperature vacuum braze furnace system from TAT Technologies, Ltd. of Gedera, Israel. The system, equipped with a graphite hot-zone design, will be used for vacuum brazing stainless steel and nickel alloys. It has an effective hot zone size of 760 mm x 760 mm x 900 mm and a maximum temperature of 1400°C (2552°F). It utilizes the latest touch-screen controls, which enable customers to meet all of the most recent AMS 2750D pyrometry specifications to comply with Nadcap accreditation requirements.

The high-temperature vacuum braze furnace system, which will be shipped in the first quarter of 2012, also includes an inert gas-quench system and has an operating range of atmosphere to 10-6Torr. Another advantage of this system is its data archiving feature, which allows for all pertinent information from executed brazes to be recorded, stored and easily accessed. TAT Technologies is a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of heat-transfer products.
