Bearing Material
Metcar Grade 1515 copper-impregnated, carbon-graphite material is specially designed to operate without lubrication in dry and dust-prone environments at temperatures up to 750°F. Metcar 1515 is ideal for bearings and thrust washers in a variety of applications. Metcar bearings are self-lubricating, non-galling, dimensionally stable and have high compressive strength. Boasting good thermal properties and high electrical conductivity, the bearings and bearing assemblies are the ideal carbon-graphite solution for applications in harsh operating conditions.
