Industrial Heating'smonthly economic indicators for December were all over 50, showing growth, for the first time since July. The change in the number of request for quotes was at its highest level (54.1) since June. That figure and the change in the number of orders both increased from last month. The change in the number of requests showed growth for the 17th time over the past 18 months. The expected change in the health of the industry declined slightly from last month but was still at its second-highest level since June. December’s index numbers:

December 2010’s index numbers reflect the changes experienced by responding companies as they compare their November 2010 business levels to their October 2010 levels. A number above 50.0 indicates increased activity or growth. A number below 50.0 indicates decreased activity or a decline in growth.
