SECO/WARWICK S.A. will supply a new vacuum furnace for the Institute of Aviation in Poland. The furnace will be used for research in brazing processes, mainly for jet engine components. It is a standard, single-chamber furnace, type 2.0VP-4022/24HV, equipped with a high-vacuum pumping system and gas cooling system.
A second furnace was sold to Hungary’s Flame Spray, a company specializing in the manufacture of turbine blades used in power generators. The furnace will be used for thermal-protective-layer production on the blades. The type 6.0VP-4060/72 furnace will be equipped with a convection heating system in inert gas and gas quenching at high pressure.
