SECO/WARWICK S.A. of Poland commissioned three horizontal, front-loading vacuum furnaces for Motor Sich JSC in the Ukraine. Two models are designed for a quenching and homogenizing process for turbine blades and aircraft engine parts manufactured from a variety of steel alloys. The third furnace is designed for annealing titanium parts. Motor Sich manufactures engines for airplanes and helicopters as well as industrial gas turbines.
SECO/WARWICK S.A. sold a 10-bar high-pressure-quench vacuum furnace to Kuznia Polska to be used for the heat treatment of hot-work tool steels, cold-work tool steels and HSLA steels. The furnace, which has a hearth loading capacity of 1,200 kg, is equipped with a 10-bar gas cooling system, convection heating and isothermal cooling. Kuznia Polska produces high-quality forgings for the automotive, railway and engineering industries.
