Radyne Corp. delivered a brass shell body induction annealing system to the U.S. military. The system features a feeder bowl, cam driven escapement, continuous feed dial indexer and auto unload, which anneals two sizes of brass shells at a nominal rate of 6,600 parts per hour. This hardening process uses a Radyne 35-kW induction power converter.

PLC controls with HMI interface offers superior control capabilities, ensuring quality and repeatability. For system cooling, an integrated closed-loop water recirculation system is included. Radyne is one of 40 companies making up the Inductotherm Group.
