Centorr Vacuum Industries shipped one of its Series LF furnace systems to a major university in China. This high-temperature (2000°C), high-vacuum (10-6torr) furnace system features a long-life, ultra-clean tungsten heating element and a hot-zone diameter of 76 mm (3 inches) x 127 mm (5 inches) high. The system also has a programmable controller with RS communication capability.

The LF furnaces are available with rough pumping, diffusion pumping and turbo-molecular pumping systems. In addition, all LF furnaces are capable of heating in inert gas.
