Premier Furnace Specialists Inc. received an order for a gas-fired box-type forge furnace from a northern Michigan supplier. The effective load size is 6 feet wide x 6 feet deep x 4 feet high with a 4,000-pound load capacity. The furnace, which has 12 inches of ceramic-fiber insulation, has an operating temperature range of 750-2400°F. State-of-the-art controls, which feature auto start and automatic turndown, are integrated with the in-house computer network system and have a log-in feature for remote troubleshooting capabilities.
