The Red Devil Dual Chamber Series are an economical choice for tool and die shops, manufacturers wanting to bring their heat treating in-house and R&D facilities. The space-saving design, with the hardening chamber conveniently situated above the drawing oven, minimizes floor space. Chambers are designed to hold 25 pounds per square foot of hearth area and come standard with a horizontal swing door with safety switch to automatically shut off power when the door opens. The upper hard-ening chamber is rated up to 2200°F for hardening applications while the lower draw chamber heats to 1200°F with a stainless steel recirculating fan for uniform heat. The furnaces are built with easy-to-replace heavy-gauge, low watt density heating ele-ments regulated with a Honeywell digital temperature controller. Over-temperature safety system, quench tank and vertical lift door are just some of the many options available.
