Ipsen, Inc. announced that it has shipped two new Titan vacuum furnaces to a manufacturer of hydraulic components and complete hydraulic systems located in Europe. These furnaces feature a 12-bar nitrogen or argon internal-quench system, an energy-efficient graphite hot zone with shaped graphite heating elements capable of processing temperatures up to 2400°F and a Vacu-Prof™ interactive control system. The units have an 18-inch-wide x 18-inch-high x 24-inch-deep work zone and are capable of handling loads up to 2,000 pounds.

Its control system supports 17 languages, switches easily between imperial and metric units of measure, stores up to 1,000 recipes, and provides real-time data acquisition, trending and archiving. An expert controls option, with interactive program generation feature, provides recipe suggestions based on the customer’s metallurgical needs.
