Ultrahigh-Temperature Furnaces
This new furnace line includes sizes from under 1 cubic foot to over 20 cubic feet for processing carbon, graphite and other advanced materials and composites. The design includes robust graphite resistance heated elements or induction-heated hot zones for use to 2900°C. The insulation package uses a combination of graphite felt and rigid graphite board for long-term service even in the presence of process off-gassing or residual binder contamination. Furnace control is via PLC/programmable controllers or Centorr’s in-house custom-designed HMI visualization interface using Intellution® software.
