Ipsen, Inc. shipped a new Titan vacuum furnace to an industrial manufacturer in Japan. The furnace features a 1.9-bar nitrogen or argon internal-quench system, diffusion pump, energy-efficient graphite hot zone with shaped graphite heating elements capable of processing temperatures up to 2400°F and a Vacu-Prof™ interactive control system. The unit has an 18-inch-wide x 18-inch-high x 24-inch-deep effective work zone and is capable of handling loads up to 2,000 pounds.

Titan is a self-contained, highly mobile, skid-mounted system with fast utility hookups that installs in just one day. Titan’s control system supports 17 languages, switches easily between imperial and metric units of measure and stores up to 1,000 recipes. It also provides real-time data acquisition, trending and archiving.
