A New England manufacturer purchased a 2-bar vacuum brazing furnace from SECO/WARWICK to enhance its vacuum brazing capabilities for specialized products used in fabricating machinery. SECO/WARWICK’s standard 2-bar brazing furnace, the VP, is an advanced cold-wall, front-loading vacuum furnace incorporating pressure gas quenching. It requires minimum floor space with an internal recirculation blower and heat exchanger. Durable graphite insulation and heaters provide long, reliable service.

The furnace’s pumping system, power supply and cooling systems are sized to enable a wide range of industrial heat-treatment applications. Vacuum brazing is usually a high-temperature (typically 1700-2250°F), fluxless process using a brazing filler metal of nickel base, pure copper or precious metal.
