No. 995 is an electrically heated, 1250°F high-temperature cabinet oven used for preheating steel forgings. Workspace dimensions measure 20 inches wide x 40 inches deep x 20 inches high, and 60 KW are installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular elements to heat the oven chamber. A 2,000-CFM, 2-HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow to the workload. The oven features 10-inch-thick insulated walls comprised of 2 inches of 1900°F block and 8 inches of 10-pounds/cubic foot density rock wool.
