Ceramic Composite
Aremcolox 502-1800 is a machinable aluminum-nitride and boron-nitride ceramic composite that provides excellent electrical insulation properties such as high dielectric strength, low dielectric constant and high volume resistivity. It is a high-purity composition that is chemically stable and inert, and it is ideal for vacuum applications. Aremcolox 502-1800 is resistant to operating temperatures of 2200°F in a vacuum and 1200°F in an oxidizing atmosphere. The coefficient of thermal expansion is relatively low, making it resistant to thermal shock.
