Macsteel Service Centers USA has expanded its business operations by opening a new 100,000-square-foot service center in Portland, Ore. The formal opening is scheduled for the spring of 2009. The Portland facility will service the Pacific Northwest region, including Oregon, Washington and Idaho. It will process and stock carbon, stainless and aluminum flat-rolled and wide-flange beams. Future plans call for the product line to include channels, angles, tubes and plates. The service center also offers in-house saw cutting and cambering.
