Consolidated Engineering Company (CEC) has signed an agreement with Pal-Con for a bell brazing furnace. This furnace will be used to braze together the stainless steel of Pal-Con’s regenerative heat exchangers in a proprietary process that requires three different protective cover gases. The design of this furnace requires a large retort that houses the product and protective gases. This bell brazing furnace will allow Pal-Con to perform the brazing operation within its plant as an integral part of its manufacturing process of the regeneration equipment.
Pal-Con repairs, maintains and manufactures gas-turbine regenerators. The company is dedicated to making gas transmission more efficient and cost-effective. Based in Stephenville, Texas, Pal-Con currently manufactures a gas-turbine regenerator that utilizes a brazed stainless steel core.
