Inert Atmosphere Oven
No. 842 is a high-temperature, 1250°F electrically heated inert atmosphere oven used for various stress-relieving operations. Workspace dimensions measure 36 inches wide x 48 inches deep x 36 inches high. The oven has 10-inch insulated walls, aluminized steel exterior and Type 304, 2B finish stainless steel interior with three roller rails at the bottom of the workspace to support 2,500-pound loads. A 1,400 CFM, 1.5-HP recirculating blower provides front-to-back horizontal airflow to the workload, and Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements furnish the heat.
