Ipsen has delivered a TurboTreater® model H6660 2-bar with a work zone measuring 48 inches wide x 48 inches high x 60 inches long to Houston, Texas-based Leading Edge Turbine Technologies. The unit will be used for brazing and heat treating power-generator components. The furnace, which has a gross load weight capacity of 3,500 pounds, is equipped with a highly efficient graphite hot-zone assembly utilizing carbon-composite materials.
The design utilizes a gas distribution plenum coupled with a 200-HP cooling motor to deliver the cooling gas quickly and uniformly to the workload with no moving mechanical components. The CompuVac® control system includes standard features such as in-process recipe editing, data collection and trending, and virtually unlimited recipe storage.
