Industrial process oven manufacturer Precision Quincy Corp. of Woodstock, Ill., formed a strategic alliance with Dallas, Texas-based burn-off oven manufacturer Pollution Control Products Co. Product and service distributor Essex Brownell will offer these complementary lines of curing and stripping ovens to serve the motor, transformer and motor-repair industries. The alliance combines the strengths and specialties of each company’s ovens into a single electric motor repair package. The ovens have a temperature range of 350-1250°F, depending on the series and model.

Pollution Control Products’ stripping ovens are at the front end of the repair process, stripping and removing defective varnish from the electric motors, while Precision Quincy’s ovens conclude the process by curing the replacement varnish used in the repair.
