Evraz Group SA announced that both the newly acquired Ipsco Inc. facilities and the company’s existing North American facilities will operate under the name Evraz Inc. NA. The new name, which takes effect immediately, impacts the North American headquarters in Portland Ore., plus all other manufacturing facilities: steel production facilities in Pueblo, Colo., Regina, Sask., and Claymont, Del.; seamless pipe, rod and rail mills in Colorado; plate mills in Claymont, Regina and Portland; coil processing facility in Surrey, B.C.; pipe mills in Portland and Regina and Alberta pipe mills in Red Deer, Calgary and Camrose.

Following completion of the sale of the Ipsco Canada assets to Evraz Group, SSAB Svenskt Stal AB is giving a new corporate name for its six remaining North American production sites. The name change to SSAB North American Division, which will remain headquartered in Lisle, Ill, will impact former Ipsco production facilities in Mobile, Ala., and Montpelier, Iowa, plus cut-to-length lines in Houston, Texas; St. Paul, Minn.; and Toronto, Ontario.
