Mercer Technologies (M-Tech) delivered a vacuum furnace to Teikuro TRD of Dayton, Ohio. The furnace has a graphite-lined hot zone with many of M-Tech’s VFL Series hot-zone innovations built into it. It also has an M-Tech-designed control panel with a touch screen and PLC. The furnace’s vacuum pumps were supplied by M-Tech’s sister company, Midwest Vacuum Pumps.

M-Tech has received a vacuum furnace order from Dayton, Ohio’s Accuphase. The element-support design is constructed to accept either molybdenum or graphite elements. This design incorporates three features: ease of replacement, strength and fewer parts needed for spares.
