Bricmont Inc. of Canonsburg, Pa., an Inductotherm Group Company, has been awarded a contract to supply six high-production-capacity round top-charge aluminum melting furnaces and six rectangular tilting holding furnaces for Nanshan Aluminum’s expanded production facility in Shandong Province, China. The installation will incorporate several state-of-the-art design features, including regenerative burners with advanced controls and electromagnetic stirring. When commissioned in late 2009, this new facility will form part of one of the largest-capacity aluminum casting centers in China.
Bricmont received a multimillion-dollar contract from TAMCO Steel to supply a new pusher reheat furnace for TAMCO’s rolling mill in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. The furnace will provide additional productivity, better heating quality, lower fuel consumption and lower emissions. The supply includes level 1 and 2 control.
