High-Temperature Materials
Metcar Grade 2500, for operating temperatures between 700°-1000°F, is ideal for general-purpose high-temperature applications where conventional lubricants would break down and fail. Metcar 9800 addresses extreme temperature installations between 1000°-1100°F such as furnaces, dryers, high-temperature conveyors and dampers. Treated with a specially formulated oxidation inhibitor, these bearings and thrust washers offer greatly increased oxidation resistance without sacrificing their self-lubricating properties.
