Selas Heat Technology Co. LLC completed two major projects at its Montgomeryville, Pa., headquarters. Selas added a new kiln, which was completed in December 2007, to add capacity to the existing production of ceramic burners for its customers’ installed base of furnaces. In addition, Selas has completed the commissioning of an on-site machine shop for turning, milling and grinding of cast housings for manufacturing high-precision components used in burners and combustion systems.

All Selas burners are manufactured in-house using a proprietary pressed-and-fired ceramics process technology that produces a high-quality, long-lasting component. Selas ownership committed significant funding for the installation of the machine shop to ensure the company’s products are delivered with high quality and to reduce order lead times.
