Eurothermtech (Warsaw, Poland) has shipped a vacuum furnace to GE Marmara Technology Center in Turkey. The furnace has a work zone of 400 x 400 x 600 mm and has an all-metal hot zone rated for 2460°F (1350°C). It also has a Varian diffusion pump and controls based on a Stange SE 607 controller with ECM computer interface. The turnkey installation will be completed in March.
Along with the furnace, Eurothermtech shipped auxiliaries such as a water-cooling system, gas buffer tank, molybdenum grid and a Honeywell multipoint recorder.
