ABP Induction, a manufacturer of induction heating and melting furnace systems, has opened a 22,000-square-foot facility in Massillon, Ohio. The facility will be dedicated to both the manufacture and remanufacture of all ABP equipment back to original specifications, and it is capable of remanufacturing competitors’ induction-coil assemblies. The facility will serve foundries throughout the North American trade region.

The Massillon facility is capable of increasing a coil’s functional lifespan by providing a thorough level of cleaning. New burn-off ovens provide cleansing of internal and external surfaces, relieving stress on the copper and lowering the risk of stress cracks. The coils are then resized, reinsulated and cured.
