CIC Pittsburgh, LLC has received contracts for three galvanizing furnaces. The first involved engineering and combustion/control systems for a furnace in southern Chile. The second is for the supply of a complete galvanizing furnace for an existing plant near Mexico City, Mexico. The final contract is for the construction of a replacement furnace for an existing plant in Alberta, Canada.
In other news, CIC Pittsburgh has received a separate contract for a forge furnace to be delivered to a U.S. titanium producer. This three-zone furnace is expected to be complete by the end of the first quarter of 2008. Another contract received involves the design and construction of two lift-off hood furnaces for the annealing/slow cooling of specialty steel ingots for a western Pennsylvania alloy steel producer.
