Eurotherm has supplied 250 PID temperature controllers and 460 single-phase thyristor units to Supermax Corp. of India, the world’s second-largest manufacturer of disposable razor blades. The temperature controllers will be used to precisely control temperature during the blade manufacturing process, specifically within heat-treatment furnaces used for processing the steel, which in turn is used to make the razor blades. Eurotherm’s controllers will also be used in the injection molding process for the razor body.
