Industrial Heating’smonthly economic indicators for July 2007 showed continued growth in the thermal-processing industry. All four indices measured byIndustrial Heatingwere well above 50.0, the index number indicating growth. In fact, all four indices were over 54.0 for the third consecutive month for the first time since May-July 2006. July 2007’s index numbers reflect the changes experienced by responding companies as they compare their June 2007 business levels to their May 2007 levels.
  • Change in number of request for quotes from May to June – 54.2
  • Change in number of orders from May to June – 55.8
  • Change in backlog from May to June – 56.0
  • Expected change in the health of the thermal-processing industry through July – 55.6
