Release Coating
Grade B-1338 has been designed to provide optimum release properties in the casting of nonferrous metals. Other uses for Grade B-1338 include the coating of troughs, pouring ladles and thermocouple sheaths. When completely dry, the coating is resistant to thermal shock and cracking during the pouring of molten metal. Grade B-1338 produces a very clean strip and superior surface finish to cast metals.
