Pit Washer and Temper Furnace
A 28 in. (dia.) x 78 in. deep (711 x 1,981 mm) washer chamber is rated for 1,500 lb (about 680 kg) at temperatures up to 200°F (95°C) with air bubbler agitation. The 36 in. x 48 in. x 48 in. (914 x 1,219 x 1,219 mm) gas-heated temper furnace is rated for 2,000 lb (910 kg) at 700 to 1200°F (370 to 650°C) at ±10°F (±5°C). The furnace design allows the door to be pushed out by two cylinders and lifted vertically. The top and bottom of the door are adjustable to provide a tight, secure seal.
