Batch/Continuous Retorts
Alloy Engineering’s brochure describes the flexibility and cost-effectiveness of fabricated replacement batch and continuous retorts. Fabricated batch-type retorts, for carburizing or hardening in AGF rotary furnaces, have reduced cast-retort operating costs by over 50% while providing up to four times the life. Fabricated continuous rotary retorts provide similar advantages in SC and AGF furnaces.
