Rolled Alloys has added NiFe Alloy 36 (ranges in size from 3/16-2” plate thickness) to their inventory. NiFe Alloy 36 is 36% nickel-balance iron alloy used for composite tooling applications. In addition, Harvey Titanium Ltd., a division of Rolled Alloys, has added 6AI-4VELI titanium bar products to their titanium inventory. ELI is short for “extra low interstitials” and has lower oxygen, nitrogen and iron. The lower interstitials provide more ductility and better fracture toughness. These products are available in bar sizes ranging from 1/8-3.5 inches in diameter.
