Ipsen received a contract from Schmolz + Bickenbach Mexico, S.A. de C.V. for heat-processing equipment for a new commercial heat-treatment facility to be built in Queretaro, Mexico. The scope of supply includes two TurboTreater 12-bar high-pressure-quench vacuum furnaces, vacuum tempering furnace, temper furnace with cryo system, temper furnace with nitriding, parts washer, and support equipment including buffer tanks and water cooling system.
According to Ipsen, the systems will be fully operated at Ipsen prior to shipment. The new heat-treatment facility will be operational in the third quarter of 2008. According to Schmolz + Bickenbach Mexico, S.A. de C.V., the facility will be the most advanced of its kind in Mexico.
