Industrial Heating''s monthly economic indicators for December 2006 showed growth in the thermal processing industry. All four indices measured by Industrial Heating were above 50.0, the index number indicating growth. Two of the four indices improved from November 2006, while two indices declined slightly. December 2006''s index numbers reflect the changes experienced by responding companies as they compare their November 2006 business levels to their October 2006 levels.

  • Change in backlog from October to November - 52.8
  • Expected change in the health of the thermal-processing industry through December - 53.2
