Industrial Heating’smonthly economic indicators for February 2007 showed growth in the thermal-processing industry. All four indices measured byIndustrial Heatingwere above 50.0, the index number indicating growth. The change in the number of requests for quotes was at 55.2, the highest it has been since September 2006. February 2007’s index numbers reflect the changes experienced by responding companies as they compare their January 2007 business levels to their December 2006 levels.

- Change in number of orders from December to January – 53.4
- Change in backlog from December to January – 54.3
- Expected change in the health of the thermal-processing industry through February – 54.9
