Guyson Corporation has developed a pass-through blasting machine for gritblast descaling and surface preparation of band saw blades and continuous strip. Dimensions of the blast cabinet are 72 inches high x 96 inches wide x 48 inches deep. The ends of the blast cabinet have entry and exit ports with guides. A vestibule at entry and exit isolates dust and noise in the blasting chamber and houses blow-off jets on the exit side. Inside the rubber-lined cabinet, eight suction-blast guns are rigidly mounted on adjustable telescoping brackets that allow positioning at the correct angles and distances for 360-degree coverage of the work.
